HYDROGEN PEROXIDE HISTORY

Walter Kidde (1945-1991)

General Information:

Kiddie still exists today in the fire supression business. It's hydrogen peroxide thruster and subsystem business ended in 1991 with the last Scout vehicle launch. Deployed hydrogen peroxide thrusters and subsyetms include the programs: Scout vaunch vehicle Reaction Control System (RCS), Little Joe II fin RCS,  Burner II RCS, Satar RCS, 122Y Vehicle, Lunar Lander Simulator Research Vehicle main propulsion and RCS, Astronaut Manuvering Unit, Syncom I, II & III RCS, Comsat "Early Bird" RCS, Comsat "Blue Bird" RCS, Applications Technology Satellite RCS (Ref 1, 2).
